Book 7 of this truly wonderful series is just amazing! Concluding the story of the Seven Sisters, I was emotionally drained after reading this。 As with every other book in the series, it becomes a book within a book, the research is excellent, the characters feel so well known, it simply oozes class。 So heartbreaking too, knowing that Lucinda passed away as her readers were settling down to read this。 It’s a bit ironic to think that she wrote the seven books of the sisters and that her final boo Book 7 of this truly wonderful series is just amazing!

I consider the Missing Sister, the best book of the complete series。 Primarily as it provides very detailed historical background on the Irish revolution。

Lori Bruce

I got to the end of the book to discover we need to wait for #8 in the series to resolve all the questions posed since book #1! Overall, this series contains excellent research of historical information and interesting connections of varied characters。 It is an easy read, good for a beach day or rainy day inside。

Dana

As usual, intriguing and mind-bending story, with deep research into the recent history of Ireland, but the writing is just not good in places。 Either way, I’ll be looking forward to the final book in the series。

Karen

Hard to rate this。 I really enjoyed the story but, as others thought too, I thought we would find out a bit more。 I really hope Lucinda Riley has passed along her notes about Pa Salt。 Very sad to lose a wonderful author。

Amy Day

The saga continues! Loved the Ireland descriptions and audio voices were wonderful。

Honestly i found the book very messy and quite annoying to read。 The plot was all over the place and it made me dislike the 6 sisters that I’ve fallen in love with in the first 6 books。 The ending was exciting and i look forward to reading the last book, but this one was disappointing。

。。。more

Disappointed, looked forward to it coming out, felt as if it had nothing to do with the other 6 books and could have been a book on its own。 Will read the next one but won't be rushing out to buy it when it's released, will wait a while Disappointed, looked forward to it coming out, felt as if it had nothing to do with the other 6 books and could have been a book on its own。 Will read the next one but won't be rushing out to buy it when it's released, will wait a while 。。。more

One of her best so far。 In the next book we should find out who Pa Salt really is, though we have some ideas based on the hints given throughout this book。 As one who has always been interested in the Irish Rebellion, this was definitely right up my alley。

Not too sure about The Missing Sister, took so long to get to the end and really not sure I'm surprised。 Not the best but would read again as I plan to read all in the series again。 Not too sure about The Missing Sister, took so long to get to the end and really not sure I'm surprised。 Not the best but would read again as I plan to read all in the series again。 。。。more

Wow what a turn of events。 And as usual Lucinda explained everything so awesomely。 I can't believe that Lucinda is not on this earth。 It is definitely a great loss to all her fans。 This book is so exciting right from the start to the end。 How everything folds out。 And finally now we have to wait for story of Pa Salt aka Atlas till 2023。 I just can't wait but I seriously have to。 How kind of Lucinda to spent till her last moments researching and experimenting lots of things。 She is the Best Histo Wow what a turn of events。 And as usual Lucinda explained everything so awesomely。 I can't believe that Lucinda is not on this earth。 It is definitely a great loss to all her fans。 This book is so exciting right from the start to the end。 How everything folds out。 And finally now we have to wait for story of Pa Salt aka Atlas till 2023。 I just can't wait but I seriously have to。 How kind of Lucinda to spent till her last moments researching and experimenting lots of things。 She is the Best Historical fiction writer forever。 Please definitely read this series it's just an awesome journey。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I was really looking forward to this book。 The other 6 books were really good。 Unfortunately this book did not come up to my expectation。 Plot was good。 Liked the idea about all the sisters searching for the missing sister around the globe。 Story that takes place in the past was good, but many things were cut short abruptly and other unnecessary things were dragged。 Like a lot of day to day stuff was written which was quite too much。 The present story was going good too, but again unnecessarily I was really looking forward to this book。 The other 6 books were really good。 Unfortunately this book did not come up to my expectation。 Plot was good。 Liked the idea about all the sisters searching for the missing sister around the globe。 Story that takes place in the past was good, but many things were cut short abruptly and other unnecessary things were dragged。 Like a lot of day to day stuff was written which was quite too much。 The present story was going good too, but again unnecessarily day to day stuff was written which made the book too long。 Story about Peter and Bobby should have been focussed more。The end was as expected, though it makes me want to wait for Atlas' story。 。。。more

This was such a huge book。 Parts of it were not great but other parts were more engaging。 It finishes without answering all of the questions it asks which is frustrating。 I didn't like reading about the sisters and how they interacted with each other。 I prefered reading the historical story set in Ireland。Overall I have loved reading these books and I guess I'll have to read the final book about Pa Salt to finally get some closure。 This was such a huge book。 Parts of it were not great but other parts were more engaging。 It finishes without answering all of the questions it asks which is frustrating。 I didn't like reading about the sisters and how they interacted with each other。 I prefered reading the historical story set in Ireland。Overall I have loved reading these books and I guess I'll have to read the final book about Pa Salt to finally get some closure。 。。。more

I'm so sad to say I was a bit disappointed by this。 It's not just that we are left waiting for answers, but that it feels way too long and complicated。 The search by the sisters is quite aggressive, and I felt the whole book could have been cut down and tightened up。 I was really sad to read of Lucinda's death and hope there will be a last book to finish the story。 My sympathies to her family - her books have been wonderful to read, even if this might not be her best one。 I'm so sad to say I was a bit disappointed by this。 It's not just that we are left waiting for answers, but that it feels way too long and complicated。 The search by the sisters is quite aggressive, and I felt the whole book could have been cut down and tightened up。 I was really sad to read of Lucinda's death and hope there will be a last book to finish the story。 My sympathies to her family - her books have been wonderful to read, even if this might not be her best one。 。。。more

I just loved the book and especially Ally。 I cannot wait to read the final book and I cannot believe that we will be able to hear Papa Salt’s story after all。

It was definitely a ride。 As always, I liked the book a lot, even though I think I began reading it with a lot of expectations。 The only thing is, for the first time, I felt like it was made longer than it needed to be。 However, it is still an amazing book which you can’t miss if you like the seven sisters series & this genre of literature。 ❤️
